Our entire practice is devoted exclusively to auditing and accounting for smaller Georgia municipalities. Most smaller Georgia governments are audited by local CPA firms that focus on commercial and tax work, not on governmental audits. These firms typically audit only a few municipalities and counties each year. For them, governmental audits constitute only a small fraction of their business. Often these firms devote scant resources to meet the needs of their few government clients often performing no governmental audit work in the first four months of the year. With this said, this is not our approach at Morris & Waters.
